Headliners : Motley Crue, Limpbizkit, Foo Fighters, and Slipknot - Thursday through Sunday, respectively.
Rockville will run Thursday, May 9th - Sunday, May 12th, with a Wednesday night campers pre-party happening usually.
This will be the biggest festival promoter, Danny Wimmer, has put on. Per Danny Hayes, who is more of the 'face' of the Wimmer festivals, they have "...run alot of surveys..." in order to get thoughts and opinions regarding what fans want in a festival. Their results were, "...more bands, more stages, and more action..." for fans' money.
This year Welcome to Rockville will have 50 more bands and 1 additional stage, making it, as proclaimed by Danny Hayes, "...by far the biggest, loudest,and most exciting festival we've ever produced!!"
We are huge fans of this festival as it's basically 'right in our back yard' and will be attending, as always, with the rest of our rock n roll family from around the world!
