Quiet Riot and Vixen Stopped In To Rock the Hard Rock Live Orlando

A beautifully temperate Florida night found fans weaving through the tourist packed Universal City Walk making their way to and up the steps of Orlando's Hard Rock Live.

With a surprisingly short set, 1 hour, by Quiet Riot,  it had me thinking that too much fun was had on the 80s cruise and possibly a favor was granted in the way of a 75min set from Vixen.  HA! I DO kid, however, Quiet Riot gave us an awesome high energy show! This shortened set was packed with all of the hits we came to hear and the crowd was on their feet rockin' along with both bands as they powered through all of those favorite songs tonight.

Vixen, with only 1 original member now-a-days, Roxy Petrucci, on drums, seemed to have the lock down on energy throughout their set. We heard all their biggest tunes, :Rev It Up", "How Much Love", and ending with "Edge of a Broken Heart". Sprinkled in between were even a few fun covers and guitar solo covers.

A special thanks going out to the Vixen camp for the photo pass allowing me to capture these moments that rock and bring them to those who couldn't be there.

What could I say about either band that hasn't already been said, in triplicate, over the many years they have been performing?? Nothing.... besides the fact that each gives a stellar performance every time even today. Full of fun, energy, absolute talent, and, of course, our cherished 80s memories!

Through many line up changes occurred and members joining the great "rock concert in the sky", both bands have preserved and are still highly sought for bookings because we will always want to relive in the greatest decade ever, through music and the friends that gather for these shows - the 80s!
