We felt it to the rafters in Orlando's HOB, located in the tourist area of Disney Springs. This is a destination in itself, loaded with amazing eats and attractions for adults and children alike. As with everything associated with Disney, it's magical, and it's surely a word to describe the night of Music we had there. Though the tour may be named The End, there will definitely be no end for any of these bands that performed this evening for a very long time!

On this, a perfect weather Friday night in Orlando, the venue was absolutely packed to the hilt, with little space for getting around. Of course House of Blues is a standing room only venue for about 90% of its concert goers with some tables scattered about and a loge area with church pews and a few more tables. Bodies were standing everywhere there was a spot. They packed areas on staircases that had a view of the stage and people were craning around support pillars trying to get the best view.Â
These support pillars were mentioned later in the concert by Wolfie asking if people were having any problems seeing around them, giving a little giggle, "....are you guys good? You can't see sh*t", with a huge Wolfie smile. He then proclaimed, in the humblest of ways, that this show was the largest headlining show to date for him personally and thanking everyone. This brought a huge cheer from our audience.Â
And this night started off with a hard-hitting, energetic band called Return to Dust which is a grunge band made up of four young, very talented, musicians who, through their music and in their own way, dare you to question things from parental oppression to religion. The band formed in L.A. in 2022 and started touring in 2024 opening for many national touring bands such as Breaking Benjamin & Three Days Grace as well as festivals such as Louder Than Life and Welcome to Rockville. Members making up the band who performed a short yet powerful set are:
Guitarists: Matty Bielawski (vocals also), and Sebastian Gonzalez
Drummer:Â London Emilio Hudson
Bassist:Â Graham Stanush (vocals also)
Having the 2 singers in this band create an almost hypnotic harmonizing sound. They played a short but powerful setlist consisting of:
Black Road
Shine
New Religion
Bored
Belly Up
When You Look at Me
Next up Myles Kennedy took the stage in support of his new record release called The Art of Letting Go. With this record he has said that instead of being apologetic and shying away from it he is Letting Go and being himself.Â
Together with bandmates Zia Uddin on drums and Tim Tournier on bass, Myles, who takes care of the guitar himself, bring this true rock album to life for us.
Myles, who when not on a solo tour, fronts the band Alter Bridge and can also be seen performing with Slash and Myles Kennedy And the Conspirators. He has a special charisma and joy when performing on stage with powerful vocals and a tone that can be picked out from the rest. Be on the look out as Alter Bridge hits the road again soon with a new tour recently announced.
Tonight his setlist included:
The Art of Letting Go
Nothing More to Gain
Miss You When You're Gone
Behind the Veil
Mr. Downside
Get Along
In Stride
Say What You Will
Last on the stage this night would be the son of one of the most famous guitar players of the modern rock era, Wolfgang Van Halen. Though "Wolfie", as we all like to refer to him, just happens to have that famous last name, he has certainly made his own way in the world of music, not relying on, but cherishing and honoring, the name he was born to. He has a captivating smile and presence on stage as he tells the audience that he still, even today, can't believe he is where he is and how far he's come, in his humble way, "All thanks to YOU (pointing at the audience)...". Almost in disbelief.Â
He did, however, play as bassist in Van Halen for a time with his father and uncle until 2020. He is ept in many instruments and can pick up 'by ear' easily, playing every instrument on his debut Mammoth album. But, given the musical talent running through his veins, would we have expected any less?!
After his father, Eddie, passed in 2020, the world mourned with Wolf. Before Eddie passed, though, Wolf was dealing with what was to come for his father, who was terminal with cancer, and wrote the heartfelt song called Distance. This is a song that touches so many deeply, as we will all go through some form of loss in life like he experienced. For me, personally, the song came out at the perfect time.Â
The title of his latest release, The End, in no way means the end of anything but more of a move in a more mature direction, musically, for he and the band. He experimented with his vocals and also brought in some of the tapping that his father was so famous for and it was also recorded at the studio Eddie built, 5150.Â
Backing Wolf in his band since 2021 are Frank Sidoris & Jonathan Joudan, both on guitars and backing vocals, Garrett Whitlock on drums, and Ronnie Ficarro on bass.Â
Here was tonight's setlist:Â
One of a Kind
Another Celebration at the End of the World
The Spell
Epiphany
Same Old Song
Like a Pastime
Optimist
Stone
Happy
Mammoth
Resolve
Distance
All in Good Time
Take a Bow
I Really Wanna
The End Tour will be kicking around the US until mid-December before flying over to Austria in Jan of 2026.

At the time of this writing, we see that both Return to Dust and Mammoth will be performing again in the Orlando area. This time during the annual, long running, Earthday Birthday festival put on by radio station, WJRR (Orlando). The festival had a hiatus last year.Â
