EDBD 26 - Yes, that's TWENTY-SIX!Not many music festivals across the country can say they'e put together 26 awesome and successful events in a row.I'm sure we have many more go come. Radio station WJRR, Orlando's largest rock station, puts together the best in local talent as well for these events, featuring them on a 3rd stage that gets its fair share of the crowds rocking with them.
The re is an inside stage or Chill Zone as it's called due to the air conditioning within the building offering fans some respite from the heat of the day at this outdoor festival. This stage features unplugged performances of many of the bands who perform on the main two stages, plus locals, and other semi-national acts.
This year's line up included Badflower, Rival Sons, Atreyu, Motionless in White, P.O.D., Pop Evil, Underoath, Three Days Grace, with festival headliners, Godsmack.
Every band put on an energy filled set fueled by the huge crowds at both the main stage and the amp stage. Some of the artists jumped from the stage to interact with front row fans and were met with hyper excitement almost pulled into the crowd. Kudos to the security in place keeping everyone safe.
WJRR definitely has a winning formula with their Earthday Birthday annual event and we look forward to next year!
